RODOVITA

Rodovita is the service trademark of Semenarna Ljubljana with a network of agricultural centres and stores all around Slovenia. Its sales are oriented especially to family farms and special attention is placed on personal contacts with each individual farm. Rodovita is also engaged in the buying-in of agricultural products which is held at purchase places in Vaneča, Kapca, Turnišče, Dobrovnik, Šalovci and Lendava, where the products are taken over, dried, and stored. The network of purchase places is established together and simultaneously with the sales network, however not necessarily at the same location; as purchase places, also the purchase places of companies may be used which are business partners of Semenarna Ljubljana. On certain locations, we undertake discussions with local partners about joint investments and capital integration into the Semenarna Ljubljana Group.
  
Basic and supplementary programme, together with the accompanying activities
The basic programme of the Rodovita retail sale is specified on the basis of the analysis of the sales programme of agricultural stores abroad. Its characteristic is that the sales share of professional agricultural sales programme (feedingstuffs, plant protection products, fertilisers, etc.) is smaller on account of other programmes (gardening, household hobby programmes, etc.). The basic buying-in programme represent grains and maize. In the future, an increased buying-in of first of all industrial plants is expected. As for livestock, the most important are cattle and pigs.
