Management and Supervisory Board
The management of Semenarna Ljubljana is based on the applicable legislation, Articles of Association of the company and responsibilities of the company's managing authorities. The Management Board reports to the Supervisory Board of the current business. Decisions on future operations are taken at shareholders' meetings.

BORUT MAVSAR, President of the Managing Board / CEO
Borut Mavsar started his professional career in 1986 as an intern in TehnoImpex, where he worked as a commercial clerk for agent programmes for the entire country in the area of duty free shops. In 1989, he started working at Emona Obala Koper, where he was employed as an independent commercial clerk until 1999; later, he took over the management of the entire sales department and the provisioning of technical agencies. In the next three years, he was in charge of the organisation and management of the Retail Provisioning division. In 1999, he was appointed Managing Director of Tobačna Grosist; while he was there, the company strengthened its distribution channels, improved its performance indicators and became one of the most successful distributors in Slovenia. In 2003, Mr. Mavsar became a management board member for sales and marketing in Mura, which was undergoing rehabilitation at the time. In the year and a half that he spent at Mura, he succeeded in transforming the brand name, increasing the international retail network and increasing own brand sales. In 2005, he took on the position of Associate Director at Gimpex; during his time there, he implemented the consolidation of the acquired undertakings at the group level, thus increasing the productivity of operation. After the merger of Slovenia’s largest producers of food, Droga and Kolinska, he was appointed Managing Director of Droga BiH and Kolinske BiH in 2005, where he successfully managed the merger and reorganisation of operations in the Bosnia and Herzegovina market. In 2006, he took over the management of all sales in Slovenia in the merged DrogaKolinska undertaking; he implemented the integration of sales, logistics and support services, consequently establishing a new approach to the market. As the Director-General for sales in Slovenia, he took on the same position on the Croatian market in 2008, conducting a similar reorganisation and resulting in improved productivity and market presence there.
In January 2011, he took on the position of Business Director in Semenarna Ljubljana and was soon appointed President of the Managing Board.

JURIJ JEŽ, Sales Manager
After completing his studies at the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Sport, Jurij Jež was initially employed at the Ig Primary School until he switched from education to the “real” sector. He found a position at Mercator, where he was in charge of the social standard and recreation. In 1988, he took on the position of marketing manager and headed the marketing studio. During this period, he also attended and completed a postgraduate study programme in marketing and marketing communication. In 1996, he was appointed HRM consultant to the Mercator Chairman of the Board, in 1998 he took over the management of the project of large shopping centre construction and in 1999 he became associate director of the market programme. In 2000, he took on the position of Associate Sales Director in Pivovarna Union, where he was promoted to the position of Commercial Director in 2002. Until the end of 2010, he managed the commercial division at Pivovarna Union, as well as the joint commercial project of undertakings within the Pivovarna Laško Group on the Slovenian market. From 2006 to 2008, Jurij Jež also held the position of President of the Union Olimpija Basketball Club and the position of Vice-president from 2008 to 2010. Since August 2011, he has held the position of Sales Manager at Semenarna Ljubljana.

VLADIMIR BREZAVŠČEK, Advisor to the Board of Management, Business Economics
After completing his studies at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, Vladimir Brezavšček worked in the Department of Audits at the Accounting Office of the time. Later he worked for Papirnica Vevče, where he held various positions for a number of years. He started out as an independent economist in the Department of Development and later headed the Economy and Accounting Division and the Sales Department. In 1996, he was appointed management board member for finance and commerce and in 2000, he became Chairman of the Board at Papirnica Vevče. In 2009 and 2010, he held the position of management board member at Tosama Domžale. Later, he worked as a consultant in his own company. Throughout his career, Mr. Brezavšček worked continuously on furthering his education and attended the Brdo IECD Business School (the General Management for Managers in Transition programme), the IMD International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne (Effective Sales Management, Mobilizing people) and the Leadership Academy organised by the Prinzhorn Group. In 2009, he completed a seminar for supervisory board chairmen and members and in 2010 he participated in the IBM e-Learning programme. In October 2011, Vladimir Brezavšček was appointed Director of Business & Economics at Semenarna Ljubljana.

SAŠO MIKLAVC, Director of human resource and law
After graduating from the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, Sašo Miklavc started his career in 2004 as a legal consultant at the Dobravc-Tatalovič&Partnerji law firm in Ljubljana. In July 2006, he took on the position of legal consultant at Semenarna Ljubljana and later worked in the field of human resources and legal transactions. In 2009, he was promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources and Legal Transactions. Under his management,
